How to check your pupil data

Use the CYPMD service to download pupil data for your school in a CSV format and check it. If there is no data for your school, you will not see any files to download.

You may see up to 2 CSV files:

  • Pupils included – in the calculation of your school’s performance measure
  • Pupils non-included – in the calculation, for example:
    • those who joined your school roll after the 2026 Spring Census day (15 January 2026)
    • 15 year olds who are not in Year 11

If you do not have any pupils in the non-included group, you will only see the pupils included file.
